The T6 temper designation means the alloy undergoes a full solution heat treatment and artificial aging process, resulting in significantly higher yield strength (215 MPa minimum) compared to T5 temper (150 MPa minimum). In practical terms: T6 frames resist bending, denting, and deformation better over hundreds of assembly cycles.
After extrusion and welding, every frame receives full anodized surface treatment. The electrochemical anodizing process creates a hard, uniform aluminum oxide layer (typically 10-15 microns) that resists corrosion, scratches, and fingerprints. The result is a smooth, consistent, professional appearance that maintains its quality through years of trade show use.
How this compares: Many standard 62mm system frames on the market use 6063-T5 aluminum without anodizing – leaving a rough, bare aluminum surface that shows fingerprints, scratches more easily, and lacks the polished appearance that premium exhibit clients expect.
Every straight frame dimension is a precise multiple of 62mm. This is not arbitrary – it is the mathematical foundation that makes the entire modular system work.
The aluminum profile is 62mm wide (square cross-section). The distance between the center of any two adjacent connection holes is also exactly 62mm. This dual meaning is why the system carries the “62” designation.
Every connection point on every frame uses a 31mm diameter hole. The M26 connector bolt (26mm outer diameter) passes through this hole with precisely controlled clearance for smooth insertion and firm engagement.
Every frame width and height is calculated as 62mm multiplied by a whole number. For example: 496mm = 62 x 8, 744mm = 62 x 12, 992mm = 62 x 16, 2480mm = 62 x 40. This precision is what allows frames from different manufacturers to align perfectly.

Yes. Every modulstand straight frame has SEG channels on both sides. You can install tension fabric graphics on one or both sides. For rigid panels (PVC, Dibond, acrylic up to 3mm), the same channels can accommodate panel inserts.
